DYLAN ROSSER INDULGES IN THE COLOR RED WITH A NEW BOOK OF SENSUAL PHOTOGRAPHS ENTITLED RED

EXPECTED RELEASE DATE IS SET FOR OCTOBER 2009

(London, England – AUG 19, 2009) – The color red; the color of lust, the color of passion. Come this October, famed British photographer Dylan Rosser will explore the sensual nature of the color that has, for centuries, inspired emotions of love, pain and redemption in his new book entitled RED.

Following the success of his last book, X-Posed, and with the help of popular gay book publisher Bruno Gmunder, Rosser has set out to publish a collection of photographs that celebrate the nude male form, and which explore the deep emotions of the color red.

RED is a book more erotic and sexual in nature than Rosser's previous work. It includes a variety of male models from an array of diverse backgrounds and body types, while also including shots of the phallus in various states of arousal. There are some familiar faces (and bodies) in the book such as international aerial artist and performer Arian Levanael, models Jakub Stefano, Matthew Ludwinski and Rob Pacicca, along with adult film stars Marco Blaze, Turk Mason and Andy O'Neill. Many of the models in the book agreed to go nude exclusively for Rosser and RED, allowing him to utilize his signature element of elegant sophistication in ways and with models no one else can.

"Even though there is no clothing in the book, I have made use of fabric in many of the images," describes Rosser. "RED is definitely a bit more erotic than my last book. And whether that has been a subconscious result of the red theme or just a natural direction of my work, I cannot be sure. Though I think for this book it is appropriately suited."

The inclusion of the color red in Rosser's images exudes a natural aura of emotional intensity that can oftentimes be arousing. Through the use of this simple element, Rosser has discovered the perfect balance between subject and color, and has combined them all into a collection of timeless photographs that provide photography enthusiasts and male form admirers’ visual gratification that is both indulgent and artistic.

I feel the earth..

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – A strong earthquake shook Costa Rica on Thursday, killing 14 people (still counting..) and sending frightened residents running into the streets of the capital as windows shattered and walls cracked.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the 6.2-magnitude temblor was centered 22 miles (35 kilometers) northwest of the capital of San Jose in the early afternoon, near the Poas Volcano national park.

Thousands of people ran from homes and shopping centers, frightened by the quake.

There has been at least 800 aftershocks, some of a 4.0 magnitude -- and seismologists warned of other possible earthquakes in the hours to come.

I was on the 3rd floor of my office I ran to the second floor after been pushed aside by a co-worker - I felt about a dozen of aftershocks and that got me a bit dizzy- things seem to be ok for now, a few casualties and several people lose their homes and some are stranded, including about 1000 tourists..... I was at the volcano last weekend !

I don't see how I can sleep tonight, earthquakes at night are very scary ! :(

Bye bye Cori

Cori was the joy of my house, she was energetic, a bit crazy and super sweet- Today she went to sleep. She was 13 years old, she is probably chasing all my other dogs and playing with Mario, Danger and Picasso who are in doggy heaven.

I went to say good bye yesterday and I can't still stop crying. She was given to me as a birthday present and I only got the change to be with her for 4 years of her life. I'll miss her a lot.!

Phantom of the Opera

Last night I went to see "The Phantom of the Opera" at the Civic Center with my friends Keith, Nick and Mark, this is one of my Top 3 Favorite Musicals ever.

I saw it on Broadway back in 1997 but I didn't understand much , my english was very poor, But I remember enjoying it and also being curious about it- after doing some research I discovered Sarah Brightman's music.

I've always been a big fan of Sarah Brightman's work, I love her- she is a great performer- I just found out that she has a role in a movie coming up soon, It's called REPO: The Genetic Opera, where she shares the spotlight with the amazing and super talented PARIS HILTON (Ok I am being sarcastic here) but it's true Paris Hilton is on REPO and she is singing- oh gosh!-

It looks trailer looks very interesting, I think we have to wait a bit for that movie to hit the theatres.

In the meantime Sarah Brightman can be seen on her SYMPHONY WORLD TOUR, this fall/winter.

She'll be performing in Los Angeles, December 18th and in San Diego on December 20th- Can't wait! Her shows are very elaborated.

I got the chance to meet photographer Dylan Rosser during his last visit to the States. He came to San Diego for a few days and I got the opportunity to see him working on a photoshoot.

I've been a big fan of his work, Dylan's approach to the male form is simply stunning and such an inspiration for someone like me who loves male photography.

Besides being a talented photographer, Dylan is also a very handsome guy, sweet and a super nice person- He definitely made a big impact on me.

We also did some pictures together , which I'll share with you soon.

Dylan is back to the U.K. where he is getting ready for the launch of his first book : X-POSED

In 2008, no less than 86 member states of the United Nations still criminalize consensual same sex acts among adults, thus institutionally promoting a culture of hatred. Among those, 7 have legal provisions with death penalty as punishment. Additionally, 6 provinces or territorial units also punish homosexuality with imprisonment.

San Diego Pride hopes to raise awareness about this reality which is unknown to the vast majority of people through the "March For Those Who Can't". The March is a tribute to our brothers and sisters around the world who are forced into invisibility or into denying who they truly are because they live in a culture where hatred and violence are justified by the State.
